The Sun exclusively reports that Wendy’s plans to cut wait times for drive-thru orders with the use of AI.

According to a statement provided to The U.S. Sun, a Wendy’s spokesperson said the company was leading the industry in terms of speed and customer satisfaction.

The company said some sites were showing “service times 22 seconds faster than the local market average”.

It also claimed to offer customers a 99% success rate for its orders while the technology is also multilingual.

The initiative is already active across nearly 100 restaurants across 17 states, and is being scaled to more restaurants.

“Since introducing the technology, our accuracy, speed and customer satisfaction scores reinforce we’re leading the industry,” a Wendy’s spokesperson told The U.S. Sun.
